How to Set Your Social Media on Autopilot, Pt 2

June 25, 2016 by Tony Leary Leave a Comment

Yesterday I shared with you how to get started automating some social media things.

Do keep in mind as we get further into this, that “good” social media marketing for businesses is actually being “social”.

Then on top of that, there’s loads of PPC (pay per click) advertising you can do with highly targeted accuracy.

For now though, we’re just broadening your internet presence for the “inbound” prospects. People currently looking for you or your services.

Full Social Media Automation

It’s tough to come up with content on a regular basis, and then to find the time to actually post it on numerous sites.

Let alone on a daily basis, like every online marketer suggests.

But, today I’m going to share with you how you can make yourself look like a social media superstar… with only a few tips and tricks.

The Tools

Here’s the tools we’re going to use. I’m not going to go in to explaining them all, you’ll probably fall asleep:

  • RSS
  • IFTTT
  • Buffer

Step 1

Find a website that is interesting to your ideal prospects and has a RSS feed.

Here’s an example from Kitchen & Bath Business (KBIS) http://feeds.feedburner.com/KBB_KitchenProjects

Step 2

Create an IFTTT.com account & recipe for each social media channel that you connected to Buffer yesterday (if you’re following along of course)

I created 1 shortcut for your to copy here.

Step 3

Enjoy.

Next up, I’ll show you how to can automate sharing your website’s unique content to some of your social media channels.
